Safety is at the heart of Dog Park Friends. We work to identify concerns at the Carmichael Dog Park and advocate for improvements that help protect dogs and their people—from fencing, gates and separation between play areas to signage, visibility, surfaces and other park safety needs. By working together with park users, the Carmichael Parks Foundation and the Carmichael Recreation and Park District, we can help turn concerns into solutions.

A great dog park should be more than a fenced-in space. It should be a place where dogs can play, neighbors can connect and everyone feels welcome. Through donations, sponsorships, fundraising and volunteer support, Dog Park Friends helps make improvements possible—from additional seating and better signage to beautification, fencing enhancements and new amenities. Every project, big or small, is another step toward creating the dog park our community deserves.
