Leaving A Legacy In The Carmichael Community

Recreation and parks play a vital role in the health and happiness of a community. This is especially true in Carmichael.

The Foundation honors supporters who wish to be partners in the future of our mission through naming Carmichael Parks Foundation in their estate plans. This page details the variety of ways that you can support the Foundation through your long-range plans.

Planned Gifts

Estate gifts to Carmichael Parks Foundation help build your personal legacy and ensure children, families and seniors can continue to enjoy and benefit from facilities, outdoor parks and recreational programs.

Gifts By Will Or Trust

Your will or living trust can provide for your loved ones and also help meet your charitable giving goals. Charitable gifts through your long-range plans, or bequests, can be for a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate.

If you want to add a gift to a will or trust that is already in place, speak to your legal counsel about adding an amendment.

Gifts From Retirement Funds And Insurance Plans

With a ‘designation of beneficiary’ form (obtained from a plan’s administrator) you can name Carmichael Parks Foundation as the recipient of all or a portion of any assets remaining in your retirement account. Likewise, you can make the Foundation the beneficiary of insurance policies that are no longer needed for their original purpose.
