Join us for a charming spring morning of pups, petals, and community at Paws & Petals, a May-inspired morning out benefiting improvements to the Carmichael Dog Park.

Set in the heart of Carmichael Park, this dog-friendly gathering brings together pet lovers from across the greater Sacramento area for a relaxed outdoor experience. Enjoy a whimsical costume parade, a fundraising walk through the park, and activities designed for both dogs and their humans.

Step into a storybook setting as pups take the spotlight in our Garden Costume Parade. Think flower crowns, soft florals, and cottagecore-inspired charm.

Prizes will be awarded for:

• Best in Bloom 🌸
• Best Fashion 🌿
• Pup + Parent Duo 💐

🚶‍♀️ Dog-Friendly Walkathon

Enjoy a relaxed ~¼-mile loop walk through Carmichael Park—perfect for all abilities.

• Organized start, but walk at your own pace.
• Suggested goal: 6 laps (approximately 1.3 miles)
• Participate casually ($25 entry and everyone gets a finishers medal and a bandana for their fur friend!) or gather pledges to support the cause. Top fundraiser gets website and social media recognition and name published in post-event article. 

Whether you're joining from Carmichael or nearby Sacramento communities, this is an easy and enjoyable way to spend a spring morning outdoors with your dog.
